Day Programme

Silver tea set

The Day Programme is available on Wednesdays for community patients to come along to Te Rangimarie.

The Day programme is a relaxed, informal "safe" place to socialise and have fun. It is a place to meet with people in similar situations to themselves in a friendly, and non-medical environment. There is no charge to attend, and volunteer drivers are generally available.

Patients can participate in a variety of activities and fellowship. A sample of the many activities we do includes: coastal walkway buggy rides, cultural days, outings, music/song/dance, guest speakers, bingo, cards, quizzes.

Day Programme allows carers some personal time, comforted in the knowledge that their loved one is being safely entertained.

Patients enjoy a delicious morning tea and lunch.
