Whānau Pae Ora ki W'aitara: Care-for-the-Carers workshops
Are you and your whānau providing care for a loved one who is living with a longstanding or serious illness? You are invited to register for our series of five FREE workshops designed to support you in your role in providing care to your whānau.
WHEN: Wednesdays 7th, 14th, 21st, 29th April and 5th May

- Session 1: Pae ora whakawhānaungatanga - Introductions, overview, storytelling
- Session 2: Mauri Ora - Physical wellbeing, nutrition, planning for the future
- Session 3: Whānau Ora - Communication, roles and relationships, community networking
- Session 4: Waiora - Navigating the health system, managing at home, respite/resthome care options
- Session 5: Pae Ora whakakapi - Completion and the way forward
