Job Vacancy - Equipment Officer

Hospice Taranaki is looking for an outgoing and friendly person to manage their community patient equipment and vehicle fleet.  

This role is for 16 hours per week, days/times to be worked out with the appointee, based at Te Rangimarie in David Street.

Key tasks will be:

  • managing all aspects of outward/inward movement of loan equipment to patients and their families
  • maintaining accurate stock lists, equipment cleaning, minor maintenance of loan items
  • responsibility for fleet and asset management
  • along with general tasks supporting hospice operations

Our ideal candidate will have a high standard of presentation, excellent communication skills and strong empathy with our services.  

This person will have good level computer experience and a full drivers licence to drive a manual vehicle, and be able to pass a N Z Police and health pre-employment checks.

There will be some lifting required and the ability to problem solve and work both independently and within a team.
