If you have a desire to work within hospice palliative care then this is an opportunity to join an outstanding team where you can make a real difference for people facing life ending illnesses.

The successful applicant will work within the South and Central Taranaki community setting and could be based in either Hawera or Stratford.  A qualification as a Registered Nurse is required for this role.  Palliative care training and/or experience would be an advantage.  This position includes working 1 weekend in 5 and additional casual hours to cover staff leave and will include on-call work as part of the roster.

We offer an excellent orientation programme with ongoing professional development opportunities.  A commitment to post-graduate study is required.  We also offer a supportive and friendly workplace with an excellent team dedicated to helping people making the most of life.

If you possess excellent communication, time management and organisational skills; ability to relate well to a wide range of people; have empathy with the health needs of Maori; can work independently and as part of a team; have knowledge, an appreciation of multi-culturalism then we would like to hear from you.  You will need to reside within New Zealand at the time of application and hold all relevant work visa(s).
