How can I help?

By giving your time:

Giving your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can give. Volunteers are an integral part of hospice palliative care and we welcome volunteers able to make a commitment of anything upwards from 2 hours per fortnight. See the Volunteer section for more details.

Making a Donation:

This year Hospice Taranaki needs to raise $1.2 million from the local community to meet the funding shortfall after what is received from the government through Taranaki District Health Board. Donations of any amount are always welcomed and can be sent to PO Box 5122 New Plymouth.

Using your "Willpower":

When planning your estate you may be able to leave a gift of cash, property or belongings. A bequest of this nature can be one that continues to give after your death. For further details email: kevin.nielsen@hospicetaranaki.org.nz

By Supporting our HospiceShops:

Donations of all types of goods are always welcomed at either of our New Plymouth, Stratford and Hawera HospiceShops.

Visit any of the HospiceShops where we know you'll find a bargain!

Memory plaque or paver:

You may purchase a named paver or plaque for in the tranquil Te Rangimarie Hospice Garden.  This offer is available only to individuals or families.  See the attached page for further details.
